WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE DISCOVERY CALL?

The free discovery call is available to all prospective patients. The purpose is two-fold: for you to be able to tell me about yourself, what you're looking for, and to gague if my style of practice is what you're looking for. For myself it is to ensure that I am the right practitioner for your needs and that I am taking on someone who is going to actually implement the plans that I create. It's a brief conversation where no medical advice is given out but general questions are answered. I'll tell you about myself, how I work, and what my fees are.

I'VE WORKED WITH ANOTHER NATUROPATH BEFORE, HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT?

There are a few aspects of my care that I pride myself on. I am your biggest cheerleader and I celebrate all successes, both big and small. I'm also all about accountability, so I will push you to make sure you are getting the most out of our appointments together. I add a personal touch to your care so that it feels like you're working with a real human being, not a robot. I've been through my own health challenges, and I bring that first-hand wisdom and experience into the scope of your plan and holding space for the struggles you're going through!

DO I HAVE TO DO TESTING TO WORK WITH YOU?

No one is obligated to do any sort of testing in order to work with me. However, this will result in limitations to your care as there will be gaps in information, and certain therapies will not be able to be accurately or safely implemented.

DO I HAVE TO BUY SUPPLEMENTS FROM YOU?

Supplements are a big part of my style of practice, however you do not need to purchase supplements through me. You can purchase them from any retailer of your choice. However I choose your supplements very carefully, so if you need to change the brand, please consult me.

I HAVE _____ CONDITION - WILL YOU WORK WITH ME?

IS A NATUROPATHIC DOCTOR A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL?

A Naturopathic Doctor is a licenced medical professional who holds a protected title. We do a total of 8 years of post-secondary schooling, one of which is a full year of residency followed by board exams both provincial and national to obtain licensure.. There are 2 accredited schools in Canada.

CAN YOU BILL MY PRIVATE INSURANCE?

Yes, for most insurance companies, direct billing is possible.

I'M ON MEDICATIONS - CAN I STILL WORK WITH YOU?

Yes absolutely! Often times, the therapies I implement can enhance the outcomes of your intended medication. I ensure all therapies are best suited for each patient and safe to use before recommending something, especially if you're on medication.

DO YOU ONLY WORK WITH ADULTS?

I work with all ages! Often time, especially when working with children, working with the parents as well allows me to set a strong foundation for the whole family.

DO YOU ONLY WORK WITH WOMEN?

I work with men and women!
